The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on May 25, 2018. This law prohibits registrants from sharing or publicly publishing contact information for multiple registrants. If your new registrant requires you to publicly declare your contact information in WHOIS, they must have an alternative GDPR-compliant process in place.
