Att Yahoo Email Server Settings – I was able to do it at one point, a while ago (resulting in a Yahoo Mail mailbox being added to my “Mail List”), but I can’t remember how, and now I can’t find how. .

I logged into Yahoo Mail (on the web…Yahoo Mail), and from my email interface, I clicked “Settings > More Settings > Mailbox,” as all the help articles on the web tell me to do. Clicking “Add Mailbox” brings up the attached screenshot.

Note that “Yahoo” is not one of the options given when I try to “Add a Mailbox” (I don’t see any other email service providers I’ve seen in screenshots of this process elsewhere on the web).

Using Yahoo And Aol Accounts In Outlook

The mailboxes I managed to add earlier were subaccounts of my main Yahoo account (my main account and successfully added subaccounts are in the screenshot, top center, under “List of mailboxes (2 of 50 in use)”. . blurred for “security” “). Now the mailbox I wanted to add (but can’t seem to) is also a sub-account of my main Yahoo account.

I signed into Yahoo Mail from another service provider, which Yahoo bought about 20 years ago. Does this cause a bug in my ATT and/or Yahoo Mail service, or is there some other special form of ATT/Yahoo Mail that I need to register so I can add more Yahoo Mail sub-accounts to my “Mailbox List”? ?

Any suggestions are welcome. If you can point me to some Yahoo Customer Support that might actually be able to help me (don’t keep me going with repetitive and irrelevant help articles, and/or never respond in a helpful way, etc.), please .

No response, and I’ve been trying to get any response from “Yahoo Support” for weeks without success. I have to conclude that Yahoo Mail (and indeed the entire ATT suite of tools/services) is no longer supported. I will be migrating to another service provider.

How To Add A Picture To Your Yahoo Mail Signature

Now the mailbox I wanted to add (but can’t seem to) is also a sub-account of my main Yahoo account. Clicking “More” under “Add Mailbox” directed me to use the Yahoo Mail app for iOS or Android to perform the function. I’ve tried using the Android Yahoo Mail app to do this without success. I can add a Yahoo Mail mailbox in the Android app, but it doesn’t affect my Yahoo Mail “Web” access, or when “Mailbox List” is set up and available there. I’ve been looking into my various ATT/Yahoo Mail sub-accounts for options that might affect this. I usually look for the “Link Account” option in my ATT account options, all to no avail. Nothing important seems to be available. I’m trying to switch to “basic” Yahoo Mail. The options menu is the same, Yahoo is not available in “Add Mailbox”. I have searched the web for a solution without success. All the support articles I found kept assuming that “Yahoo” would be one of the email providers I could choose from when I clicked “Add Mailbox”. (If it was, I wish I wouldn’t have posted it here.) I DON’T KNOW why Yahoo isn’t available for selection under “Add Mailbox”. I signed into Yahoo Mail from another service provider, which Yahoo bought about 20 years ago. This issue has not been resolved. I have three mailboxes in my Yahoo email account. One of them got hacked last year and I had to change my password but when I tried to add it again it didn’t work. I opened the Android app and added it there but it still doesn’t appear in Yahoo Mail web. Then my second account got the little “out of sync” triangle and I couldn’t reset my password to start loading my email. So I thought I’d delete it and reinstall it and everything should work again. Uh uh – now it’s gone and every time I try to add it to my first account it disappears and I can’t get both to show when I launch Yahoo Mail. It’s strange that an app like BlueMail can add all my accounts just fine. Maybe it’s time to ditch web-based email. In this post, we’ve covered the email settings required for ATT email setup.
